  We were so impressed with the Allergy and Asthma Center staff and with Dr Parks. We took our 2 1/2 year old son to be tested for food allergies after having had a reaction to walnuts. He listened to our concerns and discussed thoroughly how food allergies work. We left knowing what our son was allergic to and what precautions to take. We are grateful for a doctors office that operates in excellence and integrity.

  PARENTS! TRUST YOUR GUT!!!! Just because they say 1 thing does NOT mean they are right. They also failed to mention the skin poke test wasn't always accurate. I specifically told him she was getting hives to which he said "a true allergic reaction will have hives".... I JUST said she's getting hives. She ended up being diagnosed with lactose intolerance to which he made sure I knew I'd wasted his time because I "could have diagnosed it" myself. Now guess what she didn't get better, went to a real specialist in Portland who immediately knew she had allergies. So PLEASE PLEASE parents don't let these people make you feel stupid and if you don't trust their opinion get a 2nd. It literally saved my daughters life not listening to these people!
